Introducing the Renault Arkana, the SUV crossover with a Coupe-like silhouette. Available to order now, the Arkana is ready to test drive at Smiths Renault, Peterborough, with the first cars being delivered to customers in September 2021.
The Arkana features a sophisticated and sleek design which combines its elevated SUV body and ground clearance, with a coupé-like shape featuring muscular beltline and wide shoulders for a premium and assertive appearance. The front and rear skid plates and the wheel arch protectors enhance the SUV look, while the plunging roofline combined with rising window line deliver an agile and slender curved design that extends to the rear windows, enhancing the dynamic look.
The cabin of the Arkana features the latest interior finishes and design touches to ensure a premium feel and finish as well as exceptional comfort for all occupants. This is combined with one of the largest digital displays in its segment thanks to two screens, as well as advanced connectivity systems which deliver seamless convenience and minimal distraction for the driver.
A 513-litre boot combined with an adjustable boot floor and 60/40 split folding rear seats which can be folded completely make the Arkana practical as well as stylish. Meanwhile the front of the cabin offers a large amount of storage space, including a storage net on the passenger side with door pockets each large enough to hold 1.5-litre bottles.
The Arkana will be available with a selection of electrified powertrains featuring hybrid technology which ensures refined and efficient performance.
The new SUV model will feature Renault’s latest full hybrid E-TECH technology, which produces 145hp, while returning up to 58.9mpg, and produces as little as 108g/km in CO2 emissions. The mild-hybrid technology will be offered on all models with the 1.3-litre four-cylinder turbocharged direct injection TCe petrol engine. Offering 140hp and 260Nm of torque, this engine propels the All-New Arkana from 0-62mph in 9.8 seconds.
The Arkana’s strong, safe build has resulted in a five-star crash safety rating from the experts at Euro NCAP, with all versions of the SUV fitted with Active Emergency Braking System with pedestrian and cyclist detection, Traffic Sign Recognition, Lane Departure Warning and Lane Keep Assist, plus safety distance warning, a tyre pressure monitor and cruise control with speed limiter.
