The British-designed and built Nissan Qashqai is back, with a heavily revised exterior design, elevated interior abience, updated infotainment with Google built-in and Nissan's e-POWER technology. Coming soon to Smiths Nissan Peterborough.

Strikingly Attractive & Elegant Design

The new Qashqai features a sharp and modern design on its exterior. The front grille has been redesigned to create a bold first impression. It uses a pattern inspired by Japanese armour scales, consisting of high gloss, three-dimensional elements with a floating effect. Three new colours have been added to the Qashqai's palette, Pearl White, Pearl Black and the striking Deep Ocean, which depending on light conditions, changes from dark blue and metallic teal. Five of the cars body colours can be paired with a black roof for an elevated look.

The new headlights offer improved visibility and a sharper appearance, with adaptive high beam and wider distribution for low-light conditions. At the rear, redesigned lights feature clear lenses housing four "super red" elements echoing the grille's shape, while the thin boomerang lighting now includes a dynamic indicator signal.

The mid-grade Qashqai now comes standard with an 18" diamond-cut alloy wheel, while higher grades offer new 19" and 20" alloy wheel designs, providing one of the widest ranges in the segment and enhancing the vehicle's eye-catching design refresh.

Distinctive, Comfortable & Stylish Interior

N-Design and Tekna+ specifications of New Qashqai feature Alcantara® accents on various surfaces, while new patterned materials adorn the center console and decoration inserts, showcasing meticulous Japanese craftsmanship. Updated seat trims across the top three grades offer a premium feel, with highlights including black quilted premium leather and quilted synthetic leather with "burnt umber" accents. Ambient lighting, available on N-Connecta, N-Design, and higher grades, enhances the onboard atmosphere, with customisable LEDs accessible via the central infotainment screen.

Driver Assistance & Safety Technologies

The driver assistance systems in the upgraded Qashqai offer enhanced vigilance and intervention for increased peace of mind. Autonomous Emergency Braking features have been refined for quicker risk detection and reaction, including Emergency Stop Signal activation during sudden braking. The Emergency Lane Keep System is now automatically activated, while the Intelligent Speed Assistance system has been upgraded to provide both visual and auditory alerts when exceeding speed limits. Additionally, a new Driver Assist Custom Mode allows drivers to easily adjust assistance levels to their preferences.

The driving experience of the Nissan Qashqai has been engineered to be both refined, while still offering a rewarding driving experience. The car’s rigid structure and suspension setup help the car feel settled over bumps, while noise in the cabin is kept to a minimum. The steering has also been tuned to feel responsive on the open road, while still making the Qashqai easy to manoeuvre at lower speeds. The pioneering e-POWER electrified powertrain, introduced in 2022, continues the innovative spirit of the original Qashqai, offering a simpler, more efficient driving experience without compromising performance. Unlike traditional hybrids, e-POWER utilises a petrol engine solely to generate electricity for the electric motor, resulting in instant torque and linear response without the need for a gearbox. With over 100,000 e-POWER equipped vehicles sold in Europe since its launch, drivers appreciate the electric drive sensation and seamless integration into urban environments.
