The new TUCSON demonstrates a “Parametric Dynamics” exterior design that offers a more refined, yet powerful aesthetic. The front design showcases a striking blend of slender, angular lines within the radiator grille, and is furthermore accompanied by concealed "Parametric Jewel" daytime running lights (DRLs).
The bumper and skid plates extend seamlessly from side to side, creating a dynamic and visually wider stance. Skid plates at the rear of the Tucson have not only been integrated into the molding of bumper, but additionally enlarged horizontally to reinforce the impression of a wider wheelbase. The streamlined and sturdy structure of the rear end effortlessly mirrors the front, creating a feeling of stability and symmetry. The satin chrome accents draw attention to the New TUCSON's sporty design, with an edged parabolic shape which starts on the side mirrors and continues all the way to the C-pillar.
The wide LED tail lamps with parametric hidden light details continue the dynamic design theme in the rear.

The New TUCSON offers the widest range of electrified powertrains in the compact SUV segment. You can choose from Petrol, Petrol 48-volt mild hybrid and full hybrid versions.

The New TUCSON hybrid is powered by the new 1.6-litre T-GDI Smart-stream petrol engine and a 44.2kW electric motor, with a 1.49kWh lithium-ion polymer battery. With the 48V mild hybrid system, you will save fuel and reduce emissions, by supporting the combustion engine with additional torque during acceleration. The innovative HTRAC™ All-Wheel Drive system (available on selective Ultimate trim) provides the New TUCSON with optimal handling and cornering abilities. Also available as an option on Ultimate trim is the Electronic Controlled Suspension, which reduces roll, pitch and vertical motion to enhance ride, control and cornering. Lastly, the Terrain Mode selector (available on Hybrid powertrains) allows you to adjust the New TUCSON's driving style and all-wheel drive settings to suit road and weather conditions.

Best-in-class Safety

The New TUCSON delivers even more safety and peace of mind for you and your passengers, with a wide range of driver assistance technology available.​​

The High Beam Assist detects vehicles ahead and automatically switches between low and high beam.
The New TUCSON features Lane Following Assist, keeping the car centered in its lane when activated.
The Smart Cruise Control (standard on selected models) maintains a set distance from the vehicle ahead and also adjusts speed in anticipation of upcoming turns and junctions.
The New TUCSON features an enhanced 7-airbag system, including a first-row centre side airbag, which is unique in this segment.
Sensing the road ahead with radar and a camera, the Forward Collision-avoidance Assist system automatically brakes if the vehicle ahead suddenly slows down, or if it detects pedestrians on the road.
As part of the Tech pack available on Hybrid Ultimate, the New TUCSON can remotely park or retrieve itself from a parking space.
The New TUCSON also comes with Highway Drive Assist (standard on the Ultimate trim). This semi-autonomous system combines Lane Keep Assist, Smart Cruise Control, map data and sensors to deliver speed and steering adjustments when driving on the motorway.
With the Blind Spot View Monitor, you can see the rear left and right hand side views of the New TUCSON on a screen in the digital cluster. The cameras are activated when you use the indicator during lane changes.
