The Nissan LEAF Continues to Shine in the Auto Express Used Car Awards

The Nissan LEAF continues to go from strength to strength. For the second year running, the Nissan LEAF has been recognised in the Auto Express Used Car Awards. The current generation Nissan LEAF Acenta has been named ‘Best EV’ in this years’ Used Car Awards, having also took home the ‘Best Used Green Car Award’ in 2016.

The judging panel at Auto Express commented on how “Electric cars are the next big thing in the car industry. In a few years’ time there will be a lot more choice in showrooms, but for now, there are some great deals to be had on the first mainstream EV success story, The Nissan LEAF.”

The Nissan LEAF was also one of the best-performing models in the 2017 Driver Power survey which was taken earlier this year. Overall the car was awarded ‘Best Green Car’ and came top in the ‘Best Engine and Gearbox’, as well as ‘Best MPG and Running Cost’ award categories. Driver Power is the UK’s biggest and most in-depth car satisfaction survey, so the Nissan LEAF is a true winner.
