Nissan Qashqai and X-Trail Win 'Family Values' & 'Adventurer's Choice' at Carwow Awards 2024

Carwow, the well-known online platform for buying and selling cars, recently honored two Nissan vehicles at the Carwow Car of the Year 2024 Awards. The top-selling Qashqai secured victory in the 'Family Values' category, while the X-Trail earned recognition as the 'Adventurers' Choice.'

The Carwow Awards act to celebrate excellence in automotive product development, as well as aiming to drive demand for its dealer and OEM partners.

When reviewing hundreds of vehicles this year, the editorial team took into consideration a vehicle’s price, performance, efficiency, comfort and practicality. Mat Watson, Chief Content Officer, stated that these are the factors that “really matter to car buyers.”

With these factors in mind, the Qashqai achieved its success due to its striking and aerodynamic exterior, coupled with a spacious and refined interior, making it appealing to drivers worldwide. It is currently on its third-generation model with its popularity showing no signs of slowing down since it was crowned best-selling new car in the UK last year.

As for the X-Trail, it is currently on its fourth-generation model and continues to represent innovative technology and adventurous spirit with 7.8 million units sold globally since it was introduced in 2001.

The vehicle received acclaim for its optional third row, allowing drivers to select the most suitable version for their needs while maintaining its distinctive styling and commanding presence on the road.

Both the Qashqai and the X-Trail are key members of the Nissan line-up and are now equipped with the manufacturer’s clever e-POWER technology, which includes a fuel-efficient petrol engine and lithium-ion battery working together to power an electric motor. This allows for a responsive, yet quiet driving experience without the need to plug in or recharge.
