We were really pleased to have 4 of our cars win awards at the 2017 What Car Awards. The Hyundai i10 won best City car, The Renault Zoe won best Electric car, the Vauxhall Astra won best Family car and the Dacia Sandero won best Small car.
The Hyundai i10 has won the best city car for the 4th consecutive year. It provides excellent build quality, both a spacious and smart interior and a smooth engine. The i10 has always been cheap to buy, run and easy to drive in town. It also has luxuries that you rarely get in this size of car, plus it comes with a five year warranty. The new i10 is available from £7,695 on the road.
The Renault Zoe has won best Electric car for under £20,000. It feels like a conventional small car but has space for four adults and a generously sized boot. Performance is in line with mainstream powered card of this size. The Zoe is good to drive and feels at home both in town and on the motorway. It's battery life has improved, having gone from 106 miles to 174 miles per trip. The new Renault Zoe is available from £18,595 on the road.
The Vauxhall Astra has won best Family car for less than £18,000. It has become one of the UK's best selling new cars year after year. Honoured for the second year running, the Astra has been praised for its running costs, value-for-money, and in-car entertainment. There is lots of competition in this category. The Astra has proven itself to be the best car, not only for families, but for4 the daily commute too. Since it first went on sale in 1979, the Vauxhall Astra has always been a popular choice for those after a sensible family hatchback. It currently has a brand new look with new technology.
The Dacia Sandero has won the best small car under
£12,000, for the fifth consecutive year. This year it has undergone a facelift,
offering higher quality, comfort and practicality all with low running costs. The
Sandero is one of the roomiest cars in the small car category, both for people
and their luggage. It’s available as a five-door only, but there’s a range of
engines and trims to choose from. The Sandero starts for as little as £5,995.
