X-Trail described as 'Hugely Capable' at 2023 Tow Car Awards

The 2023 Tow Car Awards, organised by What Car? and the Camping and Caravanning Club, have honoured the new Nissan X-Trail e-4orce with e-POWER in the 1700-1899kg category.

The new X-Trail is a muscular and advanced SUV that uses e-POWER technology and e-4ORCE all-wheel-drive to deliver a smooth and quiet EV drive without plugging in. It has a petrol engine and a battery that powers an electric motor, providing instant torque and responsive performance.

The new X-Trail can seat up to seven people, making it ideal for family or friends' outings. It is also the only electrified seven-seater SUV in its segment.

The Tow Car Awards judges praised the new X-Trail for its ease of hill starts, its stability at high speeds, and its composure in emergency situations.

Andrew Humberstone, Managing Director, Nissan Motor (GB) Ltd. commented: ''Naturally we are delighted that the new X-Trail with e-POWER has been recognised in the prestigious Tow Car Awards for 2023.

''We are well aware of X-Trail's excellent towcar credentials of course, but to have its abilities evaluated and praised by two such highly respected organisations as What Car? and the Camping and Caravanning Club is hugely rewarding.

''With room for up to seven people and this gold star for its towing abilities, X-Trail owners can look forward to a summer of fantastic adventures ahead.''
