Hyundai IONIQ named as the UK's "Best Hybrid."

Hyundai Motors managed to pick up another accolade at the 2018 What Car? Awards. The Hyundai IONIQ was named as the UK’s ‘Best Hybrid.’

Judges on the panel at the What Car? Awards praised the IONIQ Hybrid for its impressive list of equipment, smooth drivability and cost-effectiveness. What Car? Editor, Steve Huntingford said, “In the last year, we’ve seen a huge increase in the number of people reading about Hybrid cars on whatcar.com, which is why we felt it was important to recognise the best models in the class.”

The IONIQ shows that you can now drive a hybrid without having to accept any compromises. Not only is the Hybrid cheap to run and more practical but its better equipped and better to drive than its rivals.

CEO of Hyundai Motor UK, Tony Whitehorn, commented on how “They are hugely proud to see the IONIQ take top honours as the UK’s Best Hybrid.”

The IONIQ comes with Hyundai’s industry-leading five-year unlimited mileage warranty and roadside assistance package. Standard equipment of the hybrid also includes the latest active safety features, such as Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist and Lane Keeping Assist.
