Dacia Enhances The Sandero and Sandero Stepway With Greater Choice And More Power

The highly acclaimed Dacia Sandero and Sandero Stepway have become even more attractive with the addition of the Journey trim level and the TCe 110 turbocharged petrol engine on select models.

Sandero Stepway Extreme customers can now enhance their top-tier model with the TCe 110 engine. This three-cylinder engine delivers robust and versatile performance, generating 110 hp and 200 Nm of torque. It also achieves 45.6 mpg (WLTP combined) and emits just 125 g/km of CO2. With this engine, the Sandero Stepway accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in 10 seconds and comes with a six-speed manual transmission.

The Euro 6-compliant engine expands the drivetrain options for the Sandero Stepway Extreme to four, joining the TCe 90, TCe 90 automatic, TCe 100 bi-fuel and TCe 110 powertrains.

The Sandero lineup is now enhanced with the introduction of the Journey trim level, which has already become a popular choice among Duster customers. The Journey specification introduces a wealth of new features to the five-door supermini, along with the option of automatic transmission when paired with the TCe 90 engine.

Enhancing the already generous features of the Essential and Expression versions, Sandero's new flagship trim level includes automatic air conditioning, rear parking sensors, a reversing camera, an electronic parking brake, Blind Spot Warning, and the MediaNav infotainment system with an 8-inch screen. It also offers DAB radio, Bluetooth, smartphone replication, USB-C ports front and rear, six speakers, and compatibility with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Externally, the Journey trim is distinguished by a shark-fin antenna, 'Randia' 16-inch alloy wheels, and black door mirrors. Inside, it features a high central armrest with console storage, removable phone support, a flexible boot floor, and door sill protectors.

Both the Sandero and Sandero Stepway ranges are now compliant with European Global Safety Regulation 2. All versions produced after April 2024 will feature enhanced ADAS capabilities that meet these regulatory safety standards.
