All-New Dacia Spring Wins ‘EV Deal Of The Century’ At TopGear.com Awards 2024

The All-New Dacia Spring announces itself at the TopGear.com Electric Awards 2024, winning the award for ‘EV Deal of the Century’.

The pure-electric supermini was considered a game-changer by the judges who praised the vehicle for its enjoyable drive, and for it being the sole EV on the market weighing less than a ton – all for an unbeatable and affordable price compared to its competitors.

Dacia’s announcement informed that the five-door hatchback will have a starting price of £14,995, making it the most budget-friendly new electric car in the UK thanks to its offering of significant savings.

Ollie Marriage, Head of Car Testing at TopGear.com, said:

Making its debut in the UK in October, the All-New Dacia Spring will be offered in two fully-equipped trim levels: Expression and Extreme. Customers will have the option to choose between a 45 hp motor or a more robust 65 hp/48 kW motor. With a range reaching up to 137 miles (WLTP mixed cycle) or 186 miles (WLTP urban cycle), the vehicle features a compact 26.8 kWh battery. Charging from 20% to 100% on a domestic outlet takes less than 11 hours, while a 7kW wall box achieves the same in just four hours.
