All-New Dacia Duster Wins Best Off-Roader in Parkers New Car Awards

The All-New Dacia Duster has been crowned Best Off-Roader by the Parkers team as part of its New Car Awards 2019, with the Duster praised as “the perfect choice” for the award. The judges recognised the off-road capabilities of Duster as being unstoppable in some of the world’s most hostile environments with the new model only building on this toughness. The All-New Duster was also praised as being more refined and better to drive, with a higher quality interior than before, all at an affordable price.

Speaking on the win for the All-New Duster, Parkers Editor, Keith Adams said: “The Duster really is all things to all people, and clear proof that Dacia is a car manufacturer on the move. Low-cost PCP and keen list prices might drive people into showrooms for this family SUV with great off-road potential, but the car’s all-round excellence are what will have them returning time and time again.”

The Parkers New Car Awards moves into its second year after a successful launch last year. The categories are designed to reflect the requirements of Britain’s car-buying public with the winners were all chosen based on the buying habits of the website’s 2.9+ million users actively involved in the buying process. The winning cars have been tested rigorously by the Parkers.co.uk team, which judged them on a combination of cost per month, value, quality, excellence and fitness for purpose.

Commenting on the latest award win for Dacia, Louise O’Sullivan, Head of Dacia UK said: “We’re incredibly pleased that the Duster has won the first ever Parkers Best Off-Roader award. Just a few months after the car went on sale here in the UK it’s great to see that the All-New Duster is proving as popular with the industry as the previous model, by offering an unbeatable combination of ruggedness, quality and value for money.”

The All-New Duster went on sale in the UK earlier this year, with a host of new improvements over the previous model. Every single body panel on the car is new, with a fully revised interior for better quality and comfort as well as featuring many new technologies and safety features never before available on the Dacia range.
