The Renault 5 Turbo 3E boasts a supercar-inspired exterior, bursting with exuberance through bold features like its prominent bumper and extended rear wing. Yet, it stays true to its core values of sportiness, agility, and aerodynamic precision—crucial for electric vehicle performance. Key elements such as the wraparound front splitter and the large bonnet air outlet are meticulously designed to enhance downforce and ensure a perfectly balanced ride.
A distinctive surround wraps around the windscreen pillars and roofline, merging into the rear spoiler, nodding to the original Renault 5 Turbo and Turbo 2. This design element blends classic style with modern flair, honouring the car’s legacy.

Tucked beneath its pronounced wing extensions, the Renault 5 Turbo 3E features 20-inch wheels, each driven by its own electric motor. This setup enhances both the car’s bold stance and its dynamic performance through precise, independent torque control.
The Renault 5 Turbo 3E remains iconic, featuring square headlights—now upgraded with LED technology—seamlessly integrated with the bonnet’s edge. Three central segments are flanked by two additional square lights, originally designed as long-range beams, now LED daytime running lights.
To enhance airflow efficiency, the bumper’s side intakes direct air in front of the wheels, while the rear wing scoops guide it beneath the lights and out the back. Additional lower side scoops are dedicated to cooling the brakes, with the left-hand one cleverly hiding the charging port.
An aerodynamic splitter spans the width between the rear lights, while beneath the bumper, a diffuser enhances performance—its effectiveness boosted by the outward-flaring design of the bumper on both sides.

Designed as a strict 2-door, 2-seater, the Renault 5 Turbo 3E places all power electronics centrally, with the battery positioned beneath the floor. This layout not only maximises boot space for luggage—a rare feature in such a sporty car—but also helps lower the centre of gravity for improved performance. You’ll find 326 litres of boot space (1,106 with the seats down), as well as 6.3 litres of central console storage space.

To honour the legacy of the original Renault 5 Turbo and Turbo 2, the Renault 5 Turbo 3E is built on a new platform featuring a specially designed rear-wheel drive architecture. The windscreen is positioned further back, and the wheelbase is extended, resulting in striking dimensions (4.08m long, 2.03m wide, 1.38m tall) that highlight its sleek, sophisticated lines. The windscreen pillar seamlessly flows toward the front wheels. With the compact length of a city car and the width of a supercar, the Renault 5 Turbo 3E defines a new category of ‘mini-supercars’ with its exceptional performance.

Electrified Performance

Performance at your fingertips – the Renault 5 Turbo 3E comes equipped with a 70 kWh battery, supporting charging speeds of up to 350 kW. It offers a driving range of over 248 miles (WLTP), lightning-fast charging from 15% to 80% in just 15 minutes at a 350 kW DC fast charger, and exceptional power for track driving. Powered by two electric motors at the rear wheels, it delivers an immediate total torque of 4,800 Nm. Advanced driving modes optimise control and responsiveness, while the car reaches a top speed of 167 mph. With 540 hp (400 kW) and a 0-62 mph time of under 3.5 seconds, the rear-wheel drive ensures thrilling performance.
