Vauxhall Unveils New Mokka Featuring Sleeker, More Contemporary Design

Vauxhall has unveiled the new Mokka, showcasing a modern, compact, and distinctive design. The updated Mokka enhances its appeal with new accents and advanced technologies typically found in higher vehicle segments.

James Taylor, Managing Director of Vauxhall, stated:

“Our new Vauxhall Mokka is bold, pure, and unmistakable. Its popularity, alongside Corsa Electric, positions Vauxhall as a leader in electric sales in the combined B-segment. We are committed to making electric mobility accessible to everyone, with a fully electric version of each model in our lineup available by the end of the year.”

The Mokka features the Vauxhall Vizor, integrating headlights and the Griffin emblem into a single element. New lighting blocks and graphical accents, including a black design line and high-gloss black trim, emphasise its sporty elegance. The redesigned front bumper and special aero wheels improve aerodynamics, while chrome applications have been eliminated.

Inside, the Mokka adopts a sustainable approach with recycled materials. The new steering wheel and cleaner centre console enhance the sporty and modern feel. The cockpit design is more refined, integrating settings into the central touchscreen for a sleeker appearance.

The upgraded infotainment system includes a 10-inch digital driver display and a colour touchscreen, both customisable and operable via natural voice recognition. The system supports wireless smartphone connectivity, EV routing, and wireless charging. A 180-degree rear-view camera aids city manoeuvring.

The Mokka offers a choice of efficient petrol engines and two electrified alternatives. The Mokka Electric features a 115 kW (156 hp) motor and a 54 kWh battery, providing up to 250 miles (WLTP) of range. The Mokka Hybrid combines a 100 kW (136 hp) petrol engine with a 21 kW (28 hp) electric motor, reducing fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.

With the new Mokka, Frontera, and Grandland, Vauxhall presents a versatile lineup of electric and electrified SUVs to meet diverse customer needs.
