Renault Scores Double Win with Scenic E-Tech 100% Electric and Clio at the Carbuyer Best Car Awards 2025

Renault continues its streak of accolades, securing two more awards at the prestigious Carbuyer Best Car Awards 2025. The Renault Scenic E-Tech 100% electric was named “Best Family Electric Car,” while the Renault Clio earned the title of “Best Small Car.”

Carbuyer Editor Paul Barker praised the Scenic E-Tech 100% electric, calling it a “game-changer.” He highlighted its impressive 379-mile range, spacious, sustainable interior, and affordability. Barker also noted the excellent rear space, multi-purpose armrest with charging station and tablet holder, large boot, and intuitive Google-based infotainment system.

The fully electric Renault Scenic E-Tech offers a choice of 170hp or 220hp motors and 60kWh or 87kWh battery packs, with the latter providing up to 379 miles of range. The 87kWh version comes in three trims: techno, esprit Alpine, and iconic, while the 60kWh model is available in techno trim.

Meanwhile, the Renault Clio has maintained its position as the nation’s favourite small car, after it drew praise from the Carbuyer judges for its interior, generous equipment and low running costs.
