Renault Scenic E-Tech Named “New Car of the Year” at 2024 Motor Trader Industry Awards

The Renault Scenic E-Tech 100% Electric has achieved another milestone by winning the prestigious “New Car of the Year” title at the 2024 Motor Trader Industry Awards.

Now in their 34th year, the awards were held at London’s iconic Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane. Judged by an expert panel from across the automotive industry, the awards celebrate excellence and professionalism in the sector.

John Kirwan, Editor of Motor Trader, praised the Scenic E-Tech, saying:

“The Renault Scenic E-Tech is a brilliant example of a well-designed vehicle that hits the sweet spot in the market—just like the original Scenic, but now fully electric and perfectly suited for 2024.”

Adam Wood, Managing Director and Country Head of Renault Group UK, expressed his gratitude, stating:

“This recognition from Motor Trader and industry experts is a tremendous honour. It highlights the Scenic E-Tech 100% Electric’s ability to set the standard in today’s competitive market, not only among EVs but across all new cars.”

The Scenic E-Tech has already collected numerous accolades since its launch in 2023, including being named “Car of the Year 2024” at the Geneva Motor Show in February.

The fully electric Scenic E-Tech offers a choice of two motors (170hp or 220hp) and two battery options: 60kWh or 87kWh, delivering a range of up to 379 miles. The 87kWh variant is available in three trims—Techno, Esprit Alpine, and Iconic—while the 60kWh model is offered exclusively in the Techno trim. Packed with intuitive and practical technology, the Scenic E-Tech continues to redefine the benchmark for electric vehicles in its class.
