Renault Celebrates Multiple Wins at the 2025 Company Car & Van Awards

Renault has achieved remarkable success at the 2025 Company Car & Van Awards, taking home four major accolades, including the highly coveted "Manufacturer of the Year" title. Among the highlights, the New Master was recognised as both “Van of the Year” and “Large Van of the Year,” while the Megane E-Tech Electric was named “Small Car of the Year,” cementing Renault’s position as a leader in the industry.

Andrew Walker, Editor of Company Car & Van magazine, praised Renault’s outstanding performance, noting,

“No other manufacturer launched as many new models in 2024… and what a line-up it was. From the class-leading Master van to the Scenic E-Tech, Symbioz, and Rafale, along with the all-new electric Renault 4 and 5 models landing in 2025, Renault continues to lead the way.”

The New Master van impressed judges with its versatility and thoughtful design improvements. Featuring a wider sliding side door opening and a longer load length compared to its predecessor, it also boasts premium interior materials, lower CO2 emissions, and 20 driver assistance programs.

Walker highlighted the electric version, saying,

“Available with diesel and electric powertrains, the New Master is a major evolution for Renault and now sets the benchmark in the large van sector. The standout option is the fully electric Master E-Tech, with an excellent 285-mile driving range, a payload of up to 1,625kg, and pricing comparable to a diesel van. It’s a runaway winner.”

The E-Tech electric version offers load spaces ranging from 11 to 14.8 cubic metres and features a car-like cabin with Renault’s openR link multimedia system and a 10-inch screen, further enhancing its appeal.

Renault’s Megane E-Tech Electric also earned high praise, taking the “Small Car of the Year” award. Despite fierce competition in 2024, it remains a standout in the electric vehicle market.

Walker remarked,

“Renault has had a fantastic couple of years, and the Megane E-Tech is the model that spearheaded this renaissance. It’s still one of the best small electric cars to drive, with a luxurious interior that sets it apart.”

The Megane E-Tech Electric offers a driving range of up to 285 miles (WLTP), a 220hp motor capable of 0-62mph in just 7.5 seconds, and fast-charging capabilities that add 186 miles of range in only 30 minutes.

Justin Costello, Head of Fleet at Renault UK, reflected on the company’s achievements, stating,

“Renault Group’s investment in the fleet sector over the past 18 months is paying off. These awards, especially the ‘Manufacturer of the Year’ recognition, highlight our market-leading vehicles and the strong value we deliver to fleet customers.”

Renault’s commitment to innovation and sustainability continues to set it apart, with its electric and hybrid models driving progress in both the car and van markets. These awards underscore the company’s dedication to delivering quality, performance, and value to customers across the board.
