Renault has officially unveiled the new Renault 4 E-Tech 100% electric at the 2024 Paris Motor Show. This modern reinvention of the classic Renault 4 highlights the brand’s commitment to accelerating the energy transition.
The design pays homage to the original Renault 4 with a unique 1.45m-long front grille and modernised three-part rear lights. Other nostalgic design elements include the bonnet lines, rear quarter window shape, and sculpted door lines. The electric canvas roof, which opens at the touch of a button or by voice control, adds a touch of outdoor spirit.
The Renault 4 E-Tech is available in a new Hauts-de-France Green colour and six other stylish shades. It offers impressive interior space with a 2.62m wheelbase, 16.4cm of knee room, and 85.3cm of headroom. The cabin features dual horizontal screens, including a 10-inch multimedia screen with Google built-in services.
Reno, the virtual companion first seen on the Renault 5, is also included, assisting with tasks like scheduling charging. The vehicle boasts a 420-litre boot space, enhanced by practical storage solutions.
Built on the AmpR Small platform, the Renault 4 E-Tech offers increased ground clearance and optimised suspension for a comfortable ride. Two powertrains are available, both with heat pumps and bidirectional charging capabilities. The 52 kWh battery powers a 110-kW motor, offering a range of up to 250 miles, while the 40 kWh battery powers a 90-kW motor with a range of up to 186 miles.
The Renault 4 E-Tech features the One Pedal function for smooth deceleration and advanced driving aids like adaptive cruise control, lane centering assist, and hands-free parking. My Safety Shield allows drivers to activate their preferred settings easily.
This new model combines retro design with modern technology, making it a versatile and practical choice for today’s drivers.
