Motor Parts Direct Expands Nationwide Fleet with 300 New Renault Kangoo Vans

Motor Parts Direct (MPD), one of the UK’s leading motor factors, has taken delivery of over 300 new Renault Kangoo vans, reinforcing its nationwide delivery fleet and supporting growing demand for its services.

The Renault Kangoo is playing a key role in helping garages keep their customers on the road. The new vans will be used to deliver motor parts daily from MPD’s 184 branches across the UK to both independent and franchised workshops, ensuring fast and reliable parts delivery with minimal vehicle downtime.

Supporting Nationwide Growth

The order was supplied via Pentagon Corporate Fleet, part of Motus Group UK. Around 240 of the new vehicles will replace existing vans, while the remaining units will support MPD’s network expansion through new branches and organic growth. Once the order is complete in June 2026, Renault vehicles will comprise over a third of MPD’s operational delivery fleet, underscoring the company’s confidence in the brand.

High Specification and Efficiency

All of the new Renault Kangoo vans are in Advance specification, offering an impressive list of standard features designed for comfort, connectivity and safety. Highlights include:

Automatic headlights and rain-sensitive windscreen wipers
Wireless smartphone replication and integration with Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay™
Each van has also been fitted with ply lining and floor protection to withstand daily commercial use.

Under the bonnet, the vans are powered by the efficient Euro 6D dCi 95 engine, paired with a six-speed manual gearbox. Each vehicle is expected to cover around 110 miles per day, 24 days a month, over a four-year or 120,000-mile replacement cycle.

The Renault Kangoo was selected following a competitive tender. Renault’s strong pricing, nationwide dealer network, and excellent aftersales support were key factors in MPD’s decision.
