As part of the Renaulution strategic plan announced in January 2021, Dacia is set to conquer the C-segment with the all-new Bigster. Already a leader in the B-segment, Dacia’s Bigster embodies the brand’s values of being Essential but Cool, Eco-Smart, Robust, and Outdoor.
The Bigster is designed for the growing C-SUV market, addressing the needs of buyers who seek comfort, performance, and space without high costs. Staying true to the Bigster Concept, the new Bigster delivers on Dacia’s promise of robust styling and practicality. It features a wide, gloss black grille, sculpted bonnet, and durable materials like Starkle®. It includes 17- or 18-inch alloy wheels, with 19-inch wheels on the top-spec trim, and a new Indigo Blue body colour.
The interior focuses on space, ergonomics, and comfort, with a high-mounted dashboard, digital instrument panel, and a 10.1-inch central touchscreen. The seating upholstery varies by trim level, offering simplicity, durability, or enhanced comfort. It also offers a high console with an armrest, cooler compartment, and induction charger.
The All-New Bigster is built on the CMF-B platform, central to Dacia’s industrial strategy, offering flexibility and generous interior space. Designed to meet the needs of C-SUV customers, it features enhanced acoustics with an acoustic windscreen, thicker glazing, and improved engine acoustics. The finish includes a new carpet and Touch LED, while seating comfort is boosted with passenger lumbar adjustment and a rear seat backrest. Dual-zone air conditioning at the front and rear air vents ensure comfort for all passengers.
It has the best-in-class boot capacity, offering up to 667 litres VDA under the parcel shelf, making it ideal for family trips. The load space’s length and height set new standards in the C-SUV market. Practical features include a 40/20/40 rear bench seat, allowing for bulky items without sacrificing passenger comfort. When only two passengers are in the rear, the central backrest can fold down to form an armrest with cupholders and a phone holder. With the backrests folded, the Bigster provides a flat boot floor with a maximum load length of 2.7 metres, maximising its utility.
