The IONIQ 9’s futuristic interior blends modern design with advanced features to create a sophisticated atmosphere. Its panoramic curved display, floating dashboard, slim air vents, and ambient lighting all contribute to its sleek aesthetic. The slidable Universal Island 2.0 console offers ample storage and a walk-through front-row seating layout, improving accessibility and convenience. Bidirectional armrests, which open from both the front and rear, make it easy to access the console from the second row. For enhanced comfort, the vehicle uses a fully encapsulated PE system to reduce motor sound, while acoustic laminated glass, triple-sealing, and a reinforced A-pillar plate minimise road, wind, and vibration noise. Prioritising sustainability, the IONIQ 9 incorporates Eco Process Leather, Recycled PET Fabric, Wool Fabric, Bio TPO/PU Skin, Bio PET/SUEDE Fabric, and Bio Paint.
The new three-row electric SUV also features a UV-C sterilizer, designed with a multi-tray function to disinfect small items like mobile phones, wallets, and masks.
The IONIQ 9 offers outstanding spaciousness, making it easy to bring everyone you belong with. It provides ample headroom and legroom in the 2nd and 3rd rows, ensuring greater comfort and an exceptional driving experience.

The IONIQ 9 features a 12-inch digital cluster and a 12-inch integrated monitor in a panoramic curved display. Its standard audio system includes an eight-speaker setup, with an option for a premium BOSE 14-speaker stereo that offers 5.1 surround sound, wireless updates, and e-Active Sound Design for virtual EV sounds. Bluelink® Connected Car Services provide features like real-time driving data and a Driver Safety Index. Over-the-air software updates keep the system current, and the vehicle includes a Digital Key, wireless charging pad with a cooling fan, and high-output USB-C ports for all three rows. The car also supports Vehicle-to-Load (V2L), allowing you to power devices through the EV’s battery. The vehicle keeps drivers informed of its charge status through green dots on the steering wheel and features Hyundai AI Assistant, an AI-powered voice recognition system activated by a button, with its status displayed via dotted indicators. These elements combine to enhance both the technology and practicality of the IONIQ 9, elevating the electric vehicle experience.

The flowing rear wheel arch accentuates the vehicle's unique volume and enhances its dynamic design. With the third-row seats folded flat, the trunk provides up to 1,323 liters of storage, and with all three rows in place, there’s still 620 liters of luggage capacity. Additionally, the front trunk offers up to 88 liters of space in RWD models and 52 liters in AWD models.

Electric-driven Expertise

The IONIQ 9 seamlessly blends impressive performance with a range of advanced electric vehicle technologies, offering a driving range of up to 385 miles. The Long-Range RWD model is powered by a 160 kW rear motor, while the Long-Range AWD version features a 70 kW front motor and a 160 kW rear motor. The Performance AWD model comes equipped with 160 kW motors at both the front and rear. With the ability to charge from 10 to 80 percent in just 24 minutes using a 350 kW charger, the IONIQ 9 also offers the platform’s vehicle-to-load (V2L) feature and 400V/800V multi-charging capability, making it easier to embrace electric vehicles.
The Long-Range RWD model is driven by a 160 kW rear motor, while the Long-Range AWD variant adds a 70 kW front motor. The Performance AWD model is equipped with 160 kW motors at both the front and rear.

Unmatched Safety​

The IONIQ 9 offers enhanced safety with clear side views displayed on monitors integrated into the cockpit, even in bad weather. It features remote parking capability, allowing it to park in various positions, including parallel, diagonal, and perpendicular spots. The reinforced body structure ensures maximum battery safety and maintains integrity in severe collisions. Standard third-row seat belt pre-tensioners and load limiters improve protection, while 10 airbags further enhance safety. The IONIQ 9 is also equipped with Hyundai's Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), including Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist, Safe Exit Assist, and Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist, among others, to prevent accidents and assist with driving tasks.
