    The Captur is available with a choice of either a 7- or 10-inch digital screen that replaces the traditional analogue instruments. Information displayed in clearer and can be customised to show you exactly what you want to see. What’s more, on larger versions turn-by-turn satellite navigation instructions can be displayed directly ahead of the driver.

    If you want the lightest, airiest cabin possible, then the semi-panoramic roof options is for you. It’s large size floods the interior with natural light and features a shade for days when you’d prefer to block out the sun.     A Practical Edge

    Renault Captur Boot Space
    The Captur is one of the most practical cars in its class. Boot space is up to a massive 536 litres with the rear seats in place, and the rear seats slide forwards and backwards so you can balance passenger and luggage space depending on what you need. The rear seats also split and fold 60/40 for when you need even more space, and the moveable boot floor creates a lip-free load area with hidden storage underneath.

    With up to 27-litres of storage space in the cabin there’s plenty of space for life’s odds and ends. The space is clever as well as plentiful – for example the front door pockets can fit a 1.5-litre bottle and the centre arm-rest features two USB sockets.

    There’s plenty of space for people as well as cargo in the Captur. Space for those in the rear seats has been improved thanks to the cleverly designed shape of the front seats. What’s more, ‘comma’ shaped front headrests improve the view for those sitting in the back.

    Renault Captur Easy Link Multi-Media System
    Captur models are fitted with a central touchscreen as standard, with either a 7- or 9.3-inch screen depending on the model, allowing easy control of many of the car’s function. The systems, known as EASY LINK, feature always-on 4G connectivity, real-time information for satellite navigation (where fitted), a customisable interface, and automatic updates.
    Renault Captur Apple CarPlay
    Every Captur model supports both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, allowing you to seamlessly integrate your smartphone with you car. You can control your device via the car’s touchscreen and means you can access your media (such as Spotify) seamlessly as well as use your Satellite navigation of choice such as Google Maps, Apple Maps, or Waze.
    Renault Captur MyRenault App
    The My Renault app for your smartphone allows you to prepare satellite navigation routes from the comfort of your home before sending them to the car, the app will also continue to guide you once you arrive at your destination. You can also lock and unlock the car remotely, as well as sounding the horn and turning on the headlights. Finally, it allows the constant monitoring of the overall condition of the car for optimised maintenance.

    Keeping your phone charged can be a constant battle these days, but thanks to the wireless charging pad available in the Captur staying topped up is now easier. Simply place your smartphone on the pad (subject to phone support) and it will start recharging without plugging in any cables. What could be easier?

    Powerful Yet Efficient Engine Choices

    Renault Captur - Front View
    The Renault Captur features a range of petrol engine choices, and a hybrid and plug-in hybrid option, meaning there's a powertrain to suit every need. There are two petrol engines to choose from, the TCe 90 with 90PS and a manual gearbox. The TCe 140 can be specified with either a manual or new 7-speed EDC automatic transmission.

    E-Tech Hybrid & Plug-in Hybrid

    Renault has introduced the E-Tech Hybrid to its range and is available in Evolution, Techno, Rive Gauche SE and R.S Line levels of trim. The E-Tech hybrid is one of the most efficient and powerful versions in the range, combining a strong and responsive performance with low running costs. There is no requirement for the E-Tech Hybrid to be plugged in to charge, instead it uses regenerative braking as the main source of charging its battery, ensuring everyone can enjoy the environmental benefits, driveability, and refinement associated with an EV.

    Renault’s clever E-Tech plug-in hybrid technology combines a 9.8kWh battery pack with a petrol engine to give you the best of both worlds. The battery provides up to 30 miles of fully electric motoring, at which point the engine kicks in to keep you moving. Even once the battery has been depleted, it retains enough charge to operate as a standard hybrid, boosting power and improving economy compared to a petrol engine alone.
