Renault Introduces New 'E-Tech Engineered' Trim Level & Arkana Updates for 2022

Renault is introducing a new trim level named 'E-Tech Engineered' on the Clio, Captur and Arkana. The Arkana is also receiving a series of enhancements for the 2022 model year.

E-Tech Engineered Line-up

The bold new E-Tech engineered trim level is available on the Clio, Captur and Arkana, forming a premium specification that is replacing the R.S. Line trim for Hybrid and Plug-In Hybrid powertrains. The models feature 18-inch E-Tech engineered diamond cut alloy wheels with gold detailing (17-inch variant on Clio models), blacked out logos on the front and back, gold styling on the bumpers, rear spoiler, door sill side trims and E-Tech engineered body markings with gold detailing. On the inside the premium theme continues, with luxurious gold-stitched upholstery as well as gold detailing located on the steering wheel, gear shifter and dashboard air vents. A dark roof lining and aluminium pedals complete the look.

Renault Arkana Updates for 2022

The specification line-up for the Renault Arkana has received enhancements, which now consists of the Evolution, Techno, R.S Line and E-Tech Engineered.

Evolution:

The Evolution trim level is replacing the previous 'Iconic', with it's specification centered around practicality. The Evolution comes with 17-inch Bahamas alloy wheels, full LED headlights with C-shaped LED light signature both front and rear, dark grey skid plates and tinted rear windows and tailgate. Considering it is at the entry level of the Arkana range, it still comes with great connectivity options as standard, with dual 7" displays featuring both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic air conditioning, rear parking sensors and rear camera.

Techno:

The Techno builds on the previous S Edition, continuing its focus on technology with a wireless smartphone charger, 10-inch TFT driver display, 9.3-inch EASY LINK touchscreen with navigation, Google search and traffic information. It also comes with 18-inch Pasadena diamond cut alloy wheels and grey-coloured skid plates.

R.S. Line:

The R.S. Line takes the technology from the Techno specification and gives it a sporty twist, with bold 18-inch Silverstone diamond cut wheels and a unique F1 blade front bumper. Further details include R.S Line badging on the inside and out, suede upholstery with red stitching, carbon-style dashboard, aluminium pedals, black roof lining, heated leather steering wheel, heated electrically-adjustable front seats, frameless rear-view mirror and hands-free parking.

E-Tech Engineered:

Finally, the E-Tech Engineered trim stands out with 18-inch E-Tech engineered diamond-cut alloy wheel with hold highlights, as seen on the Launch Edition on the All-New Renault Megane E-Tech Electric. The interior builds on the Techno specification with E-Tech engineered heated leather steering wheel, electrically adjustable and heated front seats, E-Tech engineered leather and suede upholstery with black and hold stitching, black headlining, carbon-style dashboard, aluminium pedals, frameless rear-view mirror and hands-free parking.
