Nissan X-Trail picks up best Large SUV award at Women’s World Car of the Year 2023

The panel of judges from the Women's World Car of the Year (WWCOTY) awards 2023 has announced the New Nissan X-Trail as Best Large SUV for 2023. WWCOTY is the only international award made up exclusively of women automotive journalists. Judges praised the X-Trail for its spaciousness, effortless driving experience and gamechanging e-POWER electrified powertrain.

Makoto Uchida, CEO of Nissan said:

"We are delighted that the jury of the Women's World Car of the Year has awarded the honour of best Large SUV to the Nissan X-Trail. The X-Trail is our family SUV icon, with a heritage of over 20 years. It has remained true to its original recipe: robust SUV looks, advanced and efficient all-wheel drive powertrains and flexible practicality, which come together to enable family adventures. We took the voices of our female customers into consideration throughout the design and development process, so we're particularly proud that the jury of eminent female automotive journalists from all over the world has recognized the X-Trail's talents."

The All-New Nissan X-Trail combines both practicality and style in one bold package. Using the latest e-POWER technology, it offers a unique, responsive driving experience and is the only 7-seat electrified crossover in its segment.

All-New Nissan X-Trail with e-POWER delivers a unique electrified driving experience beyond hybrid technology. e-POWER delivers a responsive yet quiet performance from a battery-operated electric motor that is constantly recharged by a fuel-efficient petrol engine. This technology allows for the torque and convenience of a full electric powertrain, without the need to plug in. If you would prefer to opt for a more traditional hybrid powertrain, there is also the option of the All-New Nissan X-Trail with Mild Hybrid technology.
