Nissan has brought updates to the world's best selling SUV to improve not only its quality and style but creating a more distinctive and robust look, allowing it to leave a true presence on the road. The desirable new features add practicality whilst also providing more technologies to ensure life on the road is even safer. Nissan has improved the X-Trail to make it even more appealing to consumers by adding a higher level of flexibility and even greater freedom. Exterior Impresses

The Nissan X-Trail has always been known for its contrasting elegant yet robust style. All of those loved features remain the same but Nissan has really focused on the redesign of the front end adding more of a dynamic and premium feel.

At the heart of this is Nissan's latest 'V-motion' grille. The grille is widen and mirrored in the design on the bumper for a more impact. Visible black plastic shines with the gloss black finish and the X-Trails body colour is enhanced.

A clearer design differentiation between different grades is apparent when viewing the new headlamp clusters. However, both feature the X-Trail's 'boomerang' Daytime Running Light Signature.

Evolving of the lights does not stop there. With the front fog lamps smoothly blended into the front bumper and stretched to appear in a rectangle shape, it is clearly without question a sleek yet bold design.

A dynamic appearance is created with the addition of a chrome side moulding across the base of the two doors. It does not stop there. The bumper has also taken an improvement with further chrome detailing allowing the X-Trail to really capture a 360 degree harmony. Full LED rear lamps have been upgraded and both rear and front parking sensors are available. This highlights the X-Trail's high quality finish.

Buyers of the Nissan X-Trail are given a choice of 17”, 18” and 19” alloy wheels (depending on the version) along with four additional exterior colours – Monarch Orange, Palatial Ruby, Sapphire Blue and Picador Brown

Interior Inspires

Step inside the cabin of the Nissan X-Trail and the high-quality feel is instantly apparent. With a striking new steering wheel driving has never felt better, the D-Shaped design allows for easier entry and comfort will provide a sportier feel. With the 5-seat version all in place there is 565 litres of space, an additional 15 litres to previous designs. The total space with all the seats folded flat increases to 1,996. The Nissan X-Trail features the latest active safety equipment that meet the highest European standards.- Intelligent Emergency Braking (IEB) - this has been featured on the X-Trail since 2014 and alerts drivers to emergency situations using front radar and camera sensors, applying the brakes automatically if required. However, because the X-Trail has improved Nissan now bring you IEB with pedestrian recognition - this helps minimise collisions with pedestrians using a combination of both the forward facing radar and camera.
