Double Recognition for Customer Service at Smiths Hyundai, Peterborough

Two members of our Peterborough Hyundai team were recently recognised, for their outstanding commitment to customer satisfaction and the Hyundai brand. The national competition, run by the Hyundai Academy featured a short-list of 80 dealership staff from across the country.

Our Senior Service Advisor, Vicki Hayden was nominated for her exceptional customer care that has resulted in the dealership now being ranked number one out of the 22 dealers for customer satisfaction in the region and in the top twenty of the country. Vicki gives all of our customers the same VIP treatment whether they are just in for a small service or have a larger warranty issue with their car and she always does this with a refreshing smile and a cheerful attitude. In recognition of her achievement, Vicki was awarded a stadium tour of her beloved Leicester City along with shopping vouchers.

Bernie Cullup, who has now been selling Hyundai cars for over 30 years, was put forward for an award for his never-ending desire to ensure that his customers get the car of their dreams and are completely satisfied with the service they receive. He has certainly witnessed some changes in that time, cutting his teeth on the Pony and Stellar which are a far cry from today’s high-tech Hyundai range. Bernie, who won’t mind us saying, is the oldest member of the sales team and is still the first to arrive and last to leave each day. As a keen motor racing enthusiast Bernie was awarded an official jacket from the Hyundai Shell World Rally Team, which incidentally can now be purchased from this dealership.
