Hyundai Announces The New-Generation i30 Tourer - Coming Soon To Smiths Hyundai, Peterborough

Due to be officially unveiled at this year’s Geneva Motor Show, the New Generation Hyundai i30 Tourer offers the same stylish exterior design and high-quality interior as the i30 hatchback but with even more practicality.

Featuring Hyundai’s brand signature cascading grille, and a tapering roofline that creates an almost coupe-like silhouette, the new i30 Tourer stands out from the crowd with its premium appearance.

The Latest In-car Safety & Connectivity Technology

The New i30 Tourer is packed with the latest in-car connectivity and best-in-class active safety equipment with Autonomous Emergency Braking, Driver Attention Alert, High Beam Assist and Lane Keeping Assist System fitted as standard.

The centre console of selected models is home to a 8-inch touchscreen is not only home to the car’s satellite navigation system but, but also allows access to Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and LIVE Services. The car is also fitted Qi wireless charging allowing selected mobile devices to be charged by placing them on the charging mat, no wires required.

A Choice of Efficient Engines

The New-Generation i30 Tourer comes with a choice of two-petrol engines and one diesel all of which are turbo-charged for improved efficiency and performance. The petrol engines are a four-cylinder petrol engine, the 1.4 T-GDI delivers maximum power of 140 PS and a three-cylinder 1.0 T-GDI that delivers maximum power of 120 PS. The diesel option is a 1.6-litre turbo diesel engine with 110PS.

Practical & Versatile

The i30 Tourer’s sleek design does not compromise boot space: with 602 litres of space and 1,650 litres with the seats folded, it has one of the biggest boots in the class. Versatility is further enhanced by the additional storage space beneath the boot floor with several compartments.


The New-Generation Hyundai i30 Tourer will be available from Smiths Hyundai, Peterborough in May 2017.
